This antique mahogany chest of drawers is a beautifully characterful early 19th century piece, dating to around 1830, with a rich mahogany colour, raised gallery back and classic two-over-two drawer layout. The gallery gives the chest a lovely decorative lift while also adding a practical edge, helping smaller items feel more contained when placed on top.

Made from mahogany, it has a warm, deep tone that works especially well in traditional homes, country interiors, cottage interiors and period-style bedrooms. It would sit beautifully in a bedroom, guest room, hallway, landing or dressing space, offering useful storage without feeling too large or overpowering.

The two short drawers over two long drawers give a very practical layout for everyday use. The drawers are deep and smooth sliding, making the chest ideal for clothing, linens, accessories or general household storage.
