This antique Georgian light oak chest of drawers is a brilliant “does it all” piece: practical storage, proper period character, and a lighter tone that works beautifully in a modern home. Dating to the late Georgian era, the oak has mellowed and lightened over time, giving it that warm, clean look that suits farmhouse furniture, country furniture, and relaxed cottage interior styling without feeling heavy.

Across the top and around the drawer edges you’ve got subtle mahogany banding that adds contrast and really sharpens the lines. The original style brass pull handles look fantastic against the lighter oak, and the diamond escutcheons give the front a crisp, classic finish. It’s a great-sized solid oak chest of drawers, with smooth-running drawers that feel good to use day-to-day, whether it’s going into a bedroom, landing, or living space where you want extra storage without sacrificing style.

Professionally restored, with minor signs of wear in keeping with age.
