Wooden wardrobe with multiple drawers and cupboards on a wooden floor.

If you want one statement piece that instantly makes a room feel established, this is it. This early 17th century Welsh house keeper’s cupboard is a proper old survivor, with the kind of scale and presence you only get from genuine period oak. It’s an ideal wooden pantry cupboard for a working kitchen, but it also looks brilliant in a boot room or dining space where you want practical storage that still feels special.

You’ve got six graduating drawers for linens, cutlery, or everyday bits, plus a generous main cupboard with a shelf and an inner hinged door for even more hidden storage. The reeded columns to either side and the decorative cornice give it that classic architectural look, so it reads as a standout antique cupboard, not just a storage unit. Handles have been added later, which is very common on pieces of this age.

Professionally restored, with minor signs of wear in keeping with age.

Dimensions: 189 x 130 x 53cm.
