This antique Regency mahogany bowfront chest of drawers is a beautiful way to bring real period character into your home. Dating from the Regency period, the chest is arranged as two short drawers over three full-width graduated drawers, all with traditional oak linings. The later ring handles sit neatly against the bowfront, framed by elegant ivory escutcheons, while the whole piece stands on classic French feet that lift the design and keep it light on the eye. It is a genuine antique chest of drawers that fits effortlessly into both country furniture schemes and a more refined cottage interior.
Professionally restored, the drawers slide smoothly and cleanly, making this a very usable everyday piece rather than just something to admire.
