This antique small Georgian mahogany chest of drawers is a beautifully useful piece of period furniture, with a classic straight front design, warm mahogany colour and elegant proportions. Dating to the mid-19th century in the George III style, it has a plain strung top with attractive crossbanding, two short drawers over three long graduated drawers, later oval brass handles and traditional bracket feet.

Its smaller size makes it especially easy to place, giving you the charm and quality of an antique mahogany chest of drawers without it feeling too large or heavy in the room. It would work beautifully in a bedroom, hallway, landing, guest room or sitting room, particularly within country interiors, farmhouse interiors and cottage interiors where warm wood, period detail and useful storage all matter.

The five-drawer layout gives very practical everyday storage for clothing, linens, accessories or household pieces. The smooth sliding drawers make it a genuinely usable antique, while the straight front keeps the look clean and timeless.
