Dating from the Victorian period, circa the 1860s, this beautifully restored mahogany footstool combines timeless craftsmanship with everyday comfort. Raised on elegant bun feet and finished in a warm mahogany tone, it has been professionally reupholstered using traditional methods in Braemar Wool "Pasture", a premium 100% wool herringbone fabric that perfectly complements its period character.

Whether placed beside a favourite armchair, beneath a window seat or in front of the fire, this antique footstool brings warmth and character to any room. Its compact proportions make it ideal for farmhouse interiors, country homes, cottage interiors and English country-style homes, while its classic Victorian design also works beautifully alongside both antique and contemporary furniture.

The newly upholstered seat features fresh webbing and generous new padding, making it exceptionally comfortable while preserving the traditional construction of the original piece. The solid mahogany frame is both sturdy and attractive, with elegant bun feet that showcase classic Victorian craftsmanship. Lightweight enough to move around the home, it can be used as a footrest, occasional seat or decorative accent.

Carefully restored and professionally reupholstered, this Victorian footstool is ready for everyday use. It displays only minor age-related wear to the mahogany frame, consistent with its age and adding to its authentic antique character.
