This antique Victorian mahogany serving console table is a beautifully shaped early Victorian piece, dating to around the 1840s. Made from mahogany, it has a rich colour, attractive flame grain, a low raised gallery back and a smart one-piece top that gives it a lovely, settled period look.

The proportions make it an especially useful piece for the home. It would work beautifully as an antique hall table, serving table, console table or side table in a hallway, dining room, sitting room, landing or traditional country interior. The slightly taller form and low gallery give it a more interesting silhouette than a standard side table, while still keeping it practical and easy to place.

The turned tapering supports add elegant Victorian detail, while the original brass castors give the piece both character and practicality, making it easier to position when needed.
