A charming early 18th-century joined elm and oak low dresser, dating to circa 1730 and possibly originating from Somerset. Featuring a moulded top above three drawers, supported on square chamfered legs united by sledge feet. The beautifully aged, deep patinated surface gives this traditional country dresser a wonderful sense of history and character.

Condition & Restoration
Currently unrestored, with a largely original, apparently sound structure, naturally worn legs, later fittings and evidence of historic woodworm beneath. The top requires strengthening, alongside general surface attention. Drawers slide smoothly. Professional restoration is available through our in-house workshop, including cleaning, sympathetic repairs and traditional waxing.
We aim to describe all pieces accurately. As antique furniture may have historic repairs or imperfections, please contact us for further information or photographs before purchasing.
Have a Question About Restoration?
Our in-house restoration typically takes around 4–5 weeks, depending on the piece and work required.
