This is a brilliantly sized Antique Georgian mahogany chest of drawers that works almost anywhere — bedroom, landing, hallway, or even as a smart country-house side piece. It’s got that warm, rich mahogany colour you want from good period wood, with neat banding around the top to add definition without being fussy. The classic straight-front design keeps it timeless, and the swan neck handles finish it off properly, giving you that elegant Georgian look that sits perfectly with farmhouse furniture, country furniture, and a relaxed cottage interior.

It has been restored and presents really well, with minor age-related wear that suits the piece and keeps it honest. The drawers run smoothly, which is a big win on smaller antique chests. Please note the drawer bottom boards have cupped slightly over the years, leaving small gaps as shown, but it doesn’t affect day-to-day use.
